Perram House is an 8 bed residential hospice located in Toronto’s inner city at 4 Wellesley Place. Care is provided on a 24 x 7 basis by a respected team of Doctors, Nurses, Personal Services Workers (PSW), and Volunteers.

The program delivered at Perram House is world class, with emphasis on patient centric care delivery.  Operations within Perram House are  based upon the consistent application of best practices and feature continuous solicitation of feedback from residents, family members and supporters alike in support of  improvement

The Ontario Government provides funding for Perram House though our local LHIN (Local Health Integrated Network), which funds a majority of the costs associated with the salary of the care professionals who work at Perram House (i.e. Nurses and PSWs).  No funding is provided for non-care costs including the costs of the capitalization and operation of the residence itself (i.e. utilities, administrative staff, food, etc). Perram House relies upon income from fundraising events and free will donations. Residents are not asked to contribute financially for their care.

Perram House opened its doors in Sept 2006 and has been operating at near capacity since that time with an average occupancy rate of 92%.
